1. Go to sites like Elance.com and oDesk.com. You will find hundreds, if not thousands, of employers on these sites looking for freelance workers. The jobs can be writing, digital design, virtual assistant work, website programming and more. Don’t think that only people with really high technical skills have the ability to work from home. There are many types of jobs out there that allow you to work remote.

2. Use your personal and professional network. Studies have shown that majority of jobs in America were found not by searching classified ads but through personal referrals. Ask your friends and former colleagues for a referral. Don’t be shy about it. The competition is tough and the gains go to those with confidence. Go ahead and make new contacts when you can as well.

3. Brush up your resume and don’t be lazy. Make sure your resume is the best it can be. Also, when sending out applications, make sure your resume and cover letters are customized to each job you apply for. Many job searches complain about the way applicants mass send applications and it WILL be obvious if you submit generic copies to everyone. If you take the time to write a cover letter and tidy up your resume to cater to each job application specifically, it will also show and put you above most applicants.

4. Make sure to send a follow up. If you haven’t heard back from a prospect, send an email or even call and ask if your application has been looked over. If you’ve made it to an interview, go ahead and send a thank-you email for the interviewer’s time after it’s done. Feel free to follow up a week after the interview if you haven’t heard from the company. Just make sure you don’t take up too much of their time. Keep it brief and polite.

5. Don’t give up. It’s easy to give up if you haven’t been hired for jobs. Remember, it’s difficult for most other applicants as well. Even with a bad economy, there are new job posts put up online daily. Things can change for the better. Have a professional look at your resume if need be to get it to be its best. Traveling is becoming easier and easier. Plane fares are cheaper now than ever and there are deals online all the time. But one thing hasn’t changed and that is we people tend to carry more than what we need when we travel. You will find when you travel light just how much stress melts away from your voyage. Heavy packers rarely use everything they brought with them during the trip. Many times it’s a psychological feeling of being sure you won’t leave anything you might need later. But with the right planning and packing strategies, you will bring what you need. Follow these tips to make traveling less tiresome by traveling light and bringing only the essentials.

1. Check the weather of the place where you are going. You might not need a jacket after all. Or maybe you will and you won’t need warm-weather clothing like tank tops and bathing suits. Choosing just the clothes that will match the climate of the place you are heading to will eliminate clothes you will not end up using.

2. Choose a small bag. Just like a big desk will just give you more room to put stuff on, a big bag will tend to allow you to carry nonessential items. A smaller bag will force you to really consider what the essentials are. A small bag with pockets is even better because you can compartmentalize your things like toiletries without having to add little purses and Ziploc bags.

3. Carry clothes that are easy to mix and match. Stick with basics like comfortable tops and pants in a neutral color. This will allow you to carry less clothing since an item that is hard to match will require other specific items to match with it. Basic clothes will all go well with other basic clothes without any need to pack extra items for the sake of matching.

4. Pack neat. Folding your clothes and shoes neatly will give you more space. Instead of just stuffing items with no regard for order, a clean packing strategy will give you more room and a clearer mind when unpacking as well.

5. Shop for items that are travel-friendly. Don’t bring a huge shampoo bottle for example and opt for a travel-size one instead. Same goes for other items like a blow-dryer. There are hairdryers that are made for traveling that fold easily.

6. Limit the shoes you bring. Shoes can easily take up a lot of space in your bag. Dressing up in basic styles and colors will also help you limit the shoes you bring. Attempt to bring no more than 2 pairs, including the one you’re wearing. Better yet, whenever possible, just bring one pair of shoes: the pair you have on! This will give you more room in your bag. Shoes can also be heavy so remember that when packing.

you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself. This is one very easy and effective method in weight loss!

4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of
making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just
the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to

sodas.

6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These
things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on
them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.

7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have
natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.

8. If you do have a craving for fruit juice then go for fresh fruit juice instead of these that
contain artificial flavors and colors. Or even better, try making your own fruit juice taking care
not to sweeten it with too many calories.

9. Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber
as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.

10. Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in
your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.

So hai, MeghanRosette! We actually think you're funny! She was a bit too much at first. You know... talking real fast, getting really hyper like she just had 5 espresso shots and followed it up with a Monster Energy drink to get an entire football team hyped up.

But but, Meghan grows on you and she looks like somebody
we'd want to hang around with.

Maybe she might be too loud at some restaurant or while shopping at Sephora. But that's not always a bad thing...if cute boys take notice and not security!

Just don't let security take us out of Sephora if we were to shop there with you, Meghan. We would love to come back to Sephora, thank you!
